We are currently seeking a driven and organized Human Resources Professional to join our team and help shape the future of our workforce. As an HR Professional at Westridge, you’ll play a key role in supporting both our office and field teams. From recruitment to retention, you’ll help ensure we have the right people in the right places—and that they feel supported throughout their journey with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the recruitment and onboarding process for both field and office staff
- Provide administrative support for career development and performance management processes
- Assist in delivering and tracking training and development programs
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- Conduct market research on compensation packages to ensure competitive offerings
- Administer and support employee benefits plans
- Identify and implement retention strategies for field staff
- Collaborate with project superintendents to coordinate weekly staffing needs
Who You Are:
- A self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills
- Experienced in HR practices and procedures (ideally within the construction or trades sector)
- Comfortable juggling priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Passionate about people and committed to fostering a positive work culture
- Proficient with HR software and Microsoft Office, and Excel
Education:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Admin, or a related field would be an asset.
- A CPHR designation (or working toward it) is considered an asset but not required.
Experience:
- 3 – 5 years in an HR role
- Experience within the construction industry is an asset
